About Us: Portland Coaching & Counseling

You’ll notice we chose a salmon for our logo. It is such a powerful aspect of our Northwest heritage, standing for persistence, wisdom and determination in striving against obstacles. An irreplaceable part of a healthy environment, the salmon also represents our approach: Live Boldly.

Unfortunately, therapists have a reputation for dwelling in the past, or encouraging people to feel victimized. That’s not the kind of therapy we provide! The ways we work and the techniques we offer are contemporary, goal-oriented, and very relevant to people who are looking for a fresh perspective. We help people take on opportunities, deal with challenges and expand into bigger lives.

We have two office locations; both are fully handicapped accessible.

See the Interior

Our Southeast office is located at 1235 SE Division Street. This office is in a large green building with a coffee shop at the front entrance, at the intersection of 12th & SE Division. This location is easily accessed from the west side of town via the Ross Island Bridge: just look for the Shell gas station on the left side of Powell Blvd at 10th Avenue and make a left turn. Follow 10th as it curves and crosses the railroad tracks. Turn left onto 12th, and go one more block to Division and you are at the intersection. Plenty of free on-street parking is available in this neighborhood.

Here are mapquest directions but they are slightly confusing! (mapquest)

Our downtown office is at 1020 SW Taylor Street, in an office building next to the downtown library. Metered on-street parking is available, or SmartPark is located on 10th between Morrison and Yamhill, one block from the office. (mapquest)
